It has a small area of professional restoration to one corner of the piece which is pointed to in images for pre purchase inspection. There are not any other chips cracks or restoration. The Coalport "Finger and Thumb" pattern is a beautiful and intricate design that was produced by John Rose at Coalport between 1803 and 1807. This pattern was inspired by the Imari style

it was originally set up near Bow but later moved to "New Canton" near the River Lea
