(1931) Peacock Label. HYGIENIC TOYS MADE IN ENGLAND FOR PEACOCK'S STORES Chad Valley MagnaThis is a very hard to find label. Chad Valley bought Peacock Stores in 1931 and continued to make bears in their name for a short while with their own Peacock label. The bears are very similar to Chad Valley's own bears. They had the Magna style horizontal nose, large cupped ears, amber glass eyes. There are 2 bears with this label in the museum. they were only made for 2 years

made new ears and restitched his nose and mouth exactly as the original
