Early 20th Century Sheraton Revival Inlaid Mahogany Tub Chair. InteriorsA very attractive early 20th century Sheraton Revival inlaid mahogany tub chair. The crest is inlaid with floral and vine marquetry with the splat boasting a symmetrical segment design. Each arm is supported by fifteen bentwood inset supports. The inlaid tapered legs sit above four original brass castors. There are signs of wear throughout to the wood, most notably to the back (please see photographs), but the chair nonetheless remains attractive with

The salt cellars are housed in their original case

The internal candle holder is slanted but still holds a tea light without issue

the silhouette does have darker black paint evident to the extremities of the head and hair (please see photographs)

The salt cellar liner is in excellent condition

The tray remains in a very good condition throughout

The table has a high gloss finish and clean green baize top

The image nonetheless remains clearly visible and does so from all angles

One pepperette does not sit quite steady but this is easily remedied by bending a foot slightly should one wish to rectify this

The salt cellar is dated 1939 and the pepperette is dated 1940

The hinge moves freely without issue
