Set Four 19th Century Blue & White Mugs Z42 displayFabulous set of four mid to late 19th century blue and white mugs. These are super pretty and in good condition. There is a small chip on the handle and rim of one (see photo) and another one has some glaze loss to the handle and staining to the base but overall they are a fabulous rare set of 4 matching mugs in a very useful size and featuring a lovely countryside scene with horses. Measurements: 11. 5cm overall width including handle 8. 5cm across

It has a few knife marks/scratches as seen in the final photograph but they are subtle and one area of glaze loss on the rim where it touched another in the kiln – overall I would say it is in fabulous condition for its age

one plate has the tiniest flea bite on the rim but it is barely noticeable and impossible to photograph

What's particularly great about these vases is that they have narrow necks which means you only need a few flower stems and they sit perfectly in place without flopping - proper bang for your buck
