A Pair of 18th Century Entrée Dishes, 1784 and 1792 by Carter, Daniel & Sharp Dublin Silverenquire A rare pair of eighteenth century cushioned form entre or vegetable dishes, with pinched in corners and a beaded rim. The raised lid is shaped up to the oval beaded handle. Both the body and lid are engraved with a contemporary coat of arms. The bases are hallmarked for 1784 by Richard Carter, Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, and the lids are hallmarked for 1792 by Robert Sharp. These dishes are in very good condition, with some wear to the coat

undamaged condition with only very minor wear to the high points and the armorials

This is very unusual design not often encountered

Above this is the concave bead decorated top

One base very slightly uneven
