8'0" Alex Knost BMT Egg surfgear8'0" Between recording albums, touring, going on surf trips, and running the Costa Mesa Conceptual Art Center, Costa Mesa's Alex Knost manages to squeeze in some time to shape some select sleds. This new Egg model from Alex is the perfect combination of flow, glide, and performance. It features a wide point forward outline with a pulled in and slightly rounded nose, as well as a pulled in rounded pintail. The rails are a great medium between knifey
they are a tad fuller allowing for full rail engagement but also more forgiving rail-to-rail surfing
The hard trailing edge of the rail holds further up the board to provide added drive akin to the infamous drive exhibited in Curren's surfing
and a little more width in the tail than you generally see in Liddle's models accompanied by a rounded squash tail
The Paisley is a great tube-shooter style midlength that modernizes classic 70s curves
9'4" x 22 7/8" x 2 7/8"
The bottom contour starts with a mellow roll that fades into a small single convace and finally ends in a faint double between the fins and out the tail

taken throughout California and on the North Shore of Oahu
the Wildcat has a mellow curve throughout the board: it is barely turned down at the tail and flipped at the nose
you can test out a 9'2" Liddle L-Spoon
The stimulating color red can help provide the energy you need to take care of things that provide security in the material world
the nose has a good amount of rocker and is narrower than some of Liddle's other models
