I had been working on some version of this piece for well over a year

Dusk brings with it the hunters of the sky

a stream exposes the storied history of Lilydale where locally sourced clay that was once fired into bricks now erodes back into the soil from which it came

It incorporates hand-collaged colored paper with a torn piece of an original proof from my Light's Last I print edition

to listen to the chatter of the river as she flowed past me

Yet while she packs quite a punch

a process which was as emotionally taxing as it was expedient

the earth – fear not
