The handle has a thumb rest at the top and a little finger do dad at the bottom, giving it a firm grip and nicer blance. For strength and durability, it is made of stoneware clay and kiln fired to 2400. On the bottom is Tama's inscribed signature and 2024 date. It is lead free,
