Floral Burst Block and Quilt santaThis gorgeous Floral burst block and quilt can be made in the 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 or 8x8 size hoop. The Floral Burst block is essentially based on the traditional Log Cabin quilt block. To create the high contrast in the block, we divided the block into two parts. One half we have used very patterned floral fabric and on the other half we have used plain very minimal fabrics. This is a machine embroidery design. There is a single design block in this

We are going to be using white for all our backgrounds but you could use black or coloured backgrounds if you choose

Please note the leaves are not appliquéd as in the main picture

The blocks in this table runner are joined using sewing machine

The eyes and hexagons are on both sides of the elephant

There are two panels to make (each half of the bag) and then they are joined and lined using a regular sewing machine
