19th Century Wrought Iron Venetian Lantern InteriorsAn exquisite late 19th century wrought iron Venetian candle lantern with hand blown stained glass roundels, complete with the original iron hanging pole. The lantern has a door to the front opened by a latch, which reveals a small platform inside for a candle. Each glass roundel is hand blown and unique in colour and form. The coaster is of excellent quality and remains in very good condition throughout

The lid and base come apart with ease and stay sealed as they should when closed

The spines of both volumes show some fading but overall

Thick bevelled glass forms the case and all panels remains in a very good condition excepting the front panel which has suffered a chip to the top right corner (please see photographs)
