Lights!Camera!Action! desertMonolake, California Having photographed this area many times I was trying to find a unique and original composition. The wave motion was especially dramatic on this day. So decided to step into the lake and shoot into the light. As the California drought continues more and more of these Tufas are becoming exposed and destroyed. Perhaps we are the last generation of photographers to be able to photograph these fragile natural sculptures.

What makes this workshop truly unique is that it combines landscape photography with wildlife photography

The park tends to be much more quiet receiving far fewer visitors than in the summer months
